So, to your question about itching. Yes, there are times I itch so bad it drives me nuts! It starts on the front of my throat and in a few days is all over. I get those bumps. Then it goes away for what ever reason it appeared! I have switched shampoos, soap, detergent. Used various lotions and cortisone cream.
I have not been able to figure out the cause. It comes and goes at will.
As Kate says, wish I could help you better, but at least you know you are not alone!

I also get the pricklies! Have since I was a kid. My sisters and friends thought it was wierd. I will get a little tickle on my head or face or a feeling of pressure, like a finger pushing on the skin lightly. Then, on another part of my body, I get an intense itching or sharp pain in a spot on another part of my body. This is sudden. Its not like it happens with a slow build up. I can scratch or slap the other part of my body with no success. But if I find the "starting Place" on my head and gently scratch or rub it, all the symptoms go away. Go figure.
