sun and heat

i was actually goig to ask about the sun myself.... My rhuemy told me that i can get in the sun but need to wear big time sunsreen, but What I am discovering is that when im in the sun I start to feel like chest pain headache, alost like a heat sroke..... no fever or rash which is what I was told i would do but more like heat stroke/ heart attack sx's
Very scary. I went to my daughters 8th grade retreat and made sure i stood in the shade but its like the heat gets me. Started having severe chest pain , sob, and hurt to breath.
I am supposed to go to church camp at the beach with the kids in June and I am very nervous about not being able to keep up or something happening to me in front of all the kids.....
Any wisdom on this??

This post got my attention, because I used to have a lot of trouble with heat exhaustion when I was younger. I looked up some stuff and you may have some problems with your internal thermostat, so to speak. If you had a sun allergy, you would have rashy symptoms, but you are having heat stroke or heat exhaustion symptoms. In my opinion this is something you should definitely discuss with your docor asap. It could be a medication causing this, or something else entirely. Hope you get some answers soon.

I do not tolerate heat at all. I drink a lot of water, stay in the shade and go inside to cool off if any symptoms hit. I get an extreme weakness and sometimes nausea. You do need to talk to your Dr about your symptoms. They sound to severe.

Thank you for responding... I just never really put the heat and othersx's together because my Dr just asked me if I get a rash.
Well not I don't but when I'm outside in the sun n heat even with 70spf to long I get really sick... Chest pain shortness of breath dizzy. It's so scary. I am supposed to be a chaperone for beach church camp and now I am really debating whether I should go or not?
If God chose to take me I just don't want to miss out on spending time with my daughter....
