That doesn't sound good. Perhaps you should call your dr. And let them know about the blood and pus.

People tell me I am bad about not going to doctor when I need to especially because of money but let me just say no one ever can say that to me again after I show this. There is no maybe about this you need to go to the hospital not doctor now. If you are not there already because you were found in a coma or something. This us a support group and some people think that means agreeing with everyone and telling people what they want to hear. I think it means being honest and trying to help others as best you can I have almost died over infection on a few occasions I was found in a coma because of sepsis. Please go to the hospital. I was on life support for a week because I chose not to go about being sick I put my family through one of the worst things they ever had to deal with my son was 15. What you describe is so wrong. If it turns out to be less serious by some miracle, well great. I can't imagine that but I have also been threatened with amputation of my leg in one occasion and hand on another. I have had my great toe amputated on another it is a bigger deal than I thought it would be and puts the entire limb at risk. Not to mention your life if youyou have other health issues especially. I hope you go it is good this is anonymous because I would call your family if I could. This might be why other things feel so bad at moment. A fever is not necessary for a bad infection to be present. I am done other than one more please go. Tj

Call your doctor! I know in the past you have had night sweats and other signs of infection. Maybe it has been this all along! Don't go and put this off. This sounds bad. I am worried about you.
Let me know what the Dr says.

I agree, at the very least call the doctor. Pus=infection! I am glad that you are learning to work with your pain, but you don't want to be in more pain because you chose to ignore an infection.

Listen, we all get it-- we feel like we've gone to the doctor for so many symptoms that if we went now, we'd just be crying "wolf."

And you know me, I'm often really bad about this... "Oh, yeah, I have some GI bleeding and my pupils are different sizes and I just petted a bottle of white vinegar that my wife left lying on the floor because I mistook it for my dog, but I'll let it go a few more days before I go to Urgent Care."

Okay, one of those things I just said wasn't true-- and I'll even tell you which one if you haven't already guessed-- AFTER you get back from the doctor, okay? I know money is a serious issue right now, but your health is more important, and MaryAnne has a really good point about the infection.

Go NOW, please. You also know I just dodged a bullet with my last blood clot, and I wanted to put off THAT appointment, too, but my buddies at work and all of you guys convinced me to go and, wow, I didn't die, which was really cool.

Let us know when you are back and what the doctor said. Thinking good thoughts...

I understand, me and my daughter re stuck the area today, Ive called my Doctor and told him I have a bad sinus infection and he called me in antibiotics. This is my leg that also has my titanium hip. If they find infection they will remove the hip for 6 months and replace it with antibiotic beads. Not to mention not having a leg i can walk on then, I will never have a succesfull transplant again. I can't make you all understand but i wont go through that well. My attitude is bad enough. Asking for help to go to the bathroom, or move is to much to ask of my family for me, there already suffering enough with MY illness. I don't fear death and have a very good life insurance policy. My whole life I worked to support them, so much I was never home to be a dad, then when i do have time for them im useless. The Doctors wont hesitate to remove the hip. And I can't take anymore. But im comfortable with anything that happens knowing my wife can move on with her life, My kids can have the money for college and My days of being a burden will be done. We don't get to choose our lives, but as of today im a scientologist or something. It will get better or it wont

I just called the doctors office and left a message.

Oh, Robert, I am so sorry things are so bad. I hope this is not in your hip. Please do all you can to get antibiotics for this. IV would work best. I sure will pray for you.

they have not returned my call , now the thigh s getting warm, I dont want to go to the hospital tonight, im going to text my GP

Hope you went to the hospital or at least the gp calls this morning first thing. Saying a prayer and hoping it will come out all right for you. Tj
