Hope everyone is doing ok and having a good day. Glad it's Sat. Seems like it's cooking down here - was in the 80s yesterday and felt great. Just hangin' today -- my whole family passed around a cold and now my oldest daughter has it and is feeling kinda lousy. Think we'll be taking it easy today.

MM, Mel & Snap - so enjoyed your posts from yesterday....gave me a good laugh :) .

Hi MT -- have fun at the PC party - yes, I have gone to a couple of those and spent too much $$! One I went to had some yummy treats from the PC cookbook - that part was fun :)!

And hello to everyone....hope everyone is feeling good and little pain. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. Between getting my tooth pulled and having my back injections, well, I've been busy trying to feel better, lol.

Our 24th wedding anniversary is Monday, so we are headed to the lake and mountains. We got a lodge room with a kitchenette right on the beach. My hubby insisted! He said it would be good for me, and who can argue that? LOL!!

I hope all of you are feeling well enough to enjoy the weekend. It is fall as of Monday, my fav!! YAY!!

Never made it to the Pamperd Chef shin dig. As I was leaving, one of my daughters brought over the cat who had a very swelled face, was damp and shaking. Called the vet and than my friend to cancel my participation in the party. Changed clothes and off we went! Seems Tommie has an abscess on her face from an animal bite. The top teeth went in just in front of her ear and the bottom ones went in under her jaw. Some big mouth! So, it wasnt another cat. They lanced the abscess and gave her a shot. I am concerned about what kind of animal did it, and what will happen when it comes back. Tommie is sleeping quietly and even ate a little, so she should be OK. She is 10 years old but has been healthy.
Marianne-Seems lots of colds are going around but also a stomach virus. Boy do I hate those! Hope your family is all better soon.
Sheri- Congrads on the anniversary! I bet you will have a good time.

Polar Bear - Happy Anniversary!! 24 years - lots to celebrate! Your trip sounds wonderful!

MT - glad your cat seems ok - must have been scary. What kind of animal do you think it was? A dog? Do you have wild animals around you? We have coyotes here and we have to be very careful with our cats -- especially at night or early a.m. . I try to keep ours indoors, but he is ALWAYS looking for a way out!!!
Hope he is better every day....
