My root canal has left my face very swollen. The ibuprophen caused me to hold water. I lost 9 pounds since last night. Need less to say you know what I was doing all night! Face is still swollen though.
Husband has tendonitis in his ankle. Had to get a cortisone shot in the heel yesterday. C/o how much it hurt! I just smiled! His first one, I have had 7 in the last 3 years. But his foot feels better today.
Celebrating my daughter in laws BD tomorrow. Then found out we have to sing for a funeral tomorrow. We know the family well. So, we plan on an early dinner, to the funeral, then back home for cake. I really liked Labor Day weekend with nothing to do!
The swim team training starts Monday. Every MTWT she swims. The driving wears me out. I hate to drive, but maybe I should get a car like Cats! May change my attitude!
Have a great weekend!

Interview went very well. Pretty sure I got the job. I didn't go to the last 2 interviews, the first one went so well!!
Got a speeding ticket on the way home yesterday...bummer:( I was very eager to get home and start packing!!!
Had a stellar workout today! I squatted 225 for 2 reps!!! I'm totally on cloud nine. I feel like i'm really back on track with my lifting again. I needed to get past the mental block and fear I was harboring. I was so afraid to feel that feeling again. I'm so over it now!!
Hope all is well with everyone. Have a manageable day:)
Oy... be careful with all that lifting! And... although I'm so reluctant to say this... I have heard bad things about repeated cortisone shots. Viv, do you have any anecdotal info on this? You might have worked with some folks had cortisone shots. And yes, I do find excuses to drive!
Wrk, great news, so glad you are feeling better! I was at the beach two days in a row because job-hunting took me to the west side. The day before yesterday was huge and scary... just big five-foot sets that came out of nowhere and were unrideable, there was one which just sucked all the water away, so I'm standing in water around my ankles (that was over my waist moments before) staring at this monster way over my head, couldn't dive under it, there wasn't enough water! I did catch a few, but the rips kept turning my board sideways.
Yesterday was MUCH better, nice, rides over 10 seconds long, I was able to do 4 or 5 turns in the whitewater... I was in about 45 minutes, caught about a dozen waves until my leash broke. Good thing, too-- I was really exhausted, fell asleep right after dinner.
Sorry about the speeding ticket, WRK! How did they get you, radar, plane or what? (I'm always interested!)
Everyone have a great weekend,

I had no internet for the last week - what did we do before internet?
The past week was not so good, 2 pretty bad days, the other manageable.. still smiling though :) Having really bad probs with my neck being stifff and glands swollen, and soooo many bad headaches.. also suddenly my sleep pattern went to sh*t, I lay awake for hours on end, just unable to sleep. Ugh. Still waiting for the bloody letter from the clinic with my prescription for Quensyl (Plaquenil) and whatever this other one is for the headaches and sleep problems.
Other than that, still smiling and still managing at least 3 days at the gym, which does make me feel so much better I have to admit.
Hugs to all and wishing you wonderful weekends!
