Almost finished with this phase of construction. They cut 2 big trees for Phase 2 today and fixed some plumbing leaks. This contractor is really great and so is his crew. They have a rule that if you have a temper fit you get a 10 min time out! It is hysterical! But even the boss gives time outs to himself! Says it keeps down accidents and bad feelings among the group. My house no longer shakes and is level. But of course none of the doors will close now.
Matt- Iloved your description of the snot/reflux thing! I can totally relate to that as the same thing happens to me! I have treated the allergies and the reflux to no avail. Think I will get a wedge to sleep on and see if it will help.
Also sorry about the horrible hallucinations your Mother is having. Must be terrifying for both of you! My mother in law had Parkinsons and she would scream and cry in her sleep. Sometimes all night long. My father in law was exausted. MOL would wake up and not remember a thing! Dr said it was the Parkinsons.
Hope you are all having a nice day!
Mary Ann
so glad you are back and so sorry to hear of your moms condition. hugs to all marilyn
Matyanka, yes, my throat is often scratchy, I think it's an overreaction to pollution, could be MCTD, could be something else. MT, your crew sounds great, that is a riot, I love the contractor's attitude! Sounds like a great manager. When I worked... which seems like a million years ago... I had a ritual where people would do kind of a confession ritual, confess their screwups, and I often participated. The screaming and crying thing is exactly what mom is doing-- asking to join her dead relatives, asking demons not to attack me, stuff that makes the worst acid trips I've ever heard of look like a vacation in Tahiti.
Dallas, good for you for hanging tough on pain meds... I am allowed two tablets, and that is what I have been taking, I am going to try to skip tonight. Man, I wish your temperature would go down!
Eyes are burning, very sore today, wanted to go to the beach briefly after the morning/afternoon job hunt, but did not feel up for it physically, also too depressed. Will try again tomorrow, sorry I am still so blue.
