Hope everyone has a good and pain free day.

Maryanne, I had a good giggle over your month choice.. I do think the months fly by far too quickly, so August sounds pretty good to me! Good luck with phase 1 and I hope you are feeling well...
Oddman - sorry you were in the sun too long, and I know what you mean by it hitting a day or so later. I hope it will not be too bad for you.
As for me, yesterday was a terrible day with throwing up etc.. I am hoping today may be a little easier.. day 5 for me on the Quensyl. I am sooo excited the last few days however to see a few baby hairs on my head, and also noticing that clumps are not falling out in the shower! I know it is not due to the Quensyl, I think it is from the Prednisone that I have been back on for a few weeks, and the selenium. This is a huge + for me! Physically am crappy, but mentally still doing fine!!
Hugs, happiness, health and smiles to all!!
Melissa
Mary Ann- Cheers on the Foundation- keep us updated.
Oddman- Booooo on the sunrays. and Booooo on meetings. in Jersey. lol
Mel- YAY for hair growth. Boo for nausea- Plaquenil was rough on me too if I didnt eat with it- but my body adjusted and I tolerate it pretty well. This Cymbalta on the other hand sheesh... Ive starteed taking an anti nausea about 45 minutes before.
As for me, I feel like I was hit by a truck. Started stiffening up at restaurant last night and go progressively worse throughout the evening, bad enough for hydrocod. THis morning Im just achy though. Just annoying; I had 3 awesome days. And now Jim is going to London for a week, *sigh*
take care everyone

Oddman, very funny about September. I hope everyone is having a nice April. With this illness, I find it easier to simply go by the Zorastrian calendar, or just make something up. Maybe you will dodge the rash, I'm thinking positive thoughts... I was in Jersey a few days ago, though not on purpose-- cab driver got lost with me and mom on the way to doctor's appointment in Washington Heights, went over the GW bridge. What an idiot-- I printed him Google Map and he refused to read it. When we finally got back over the Bridge and back into Manhattan, I told him... "Nice work, at least we're in the right state now."
Melissa, sorry that nausea is getting to you, hope you feel better, glad your spirits are up.
Viv, sorry you are stiff. I have been on pain meds every day in New
York because I can't sleep or eat properly and I'm under so much pressure. Will try to skip today if I can. Yesterday, my right shoulder was killing me, and my eyelids and forehead were on fire from about 4:30 on... Last night, I got about five hours, but they were five good hours, and mysteriously the aches were gone.
Gotta dash, very tight schedule here, just wanted to say hi and hope y'all are well... I've told all my friends here about you guys!
BTW, I am practicing orientation and sense of direction. Can't do hills on the bike, so I kind of noodled around in the Rambles in Central Park, which was always too dangerous in the 70s and 80s but is safe now. I think it was good to test myself in a maze like environment without distractions, it seemed to help.
