I went to the Rheumy today. OK visit. Really nothing new. She gave me refills for 5 meds and then I went to the lab and had blood drawn. Dont go back for 6 months unless I need to see her again.
I pulled the muscle in my back again carrying groceries. Think I will take it easy. I initially did this almost 2 weeks ago. You think it would be better by now.
My oldest daughter called upset because she could not be here for Christmas this year. I had to tell her all about my experience with moving away from parents and not getting home for Christmas. She was better after our talk. Now, I am the one upset. LOL Just typical.
The weather is great here today. 72 degrees and sunny. And here I am inside. What am I thinking?
Went to a charity quilting bee after seeing the DR. We have made 6 quilts for refugees in the past 3 months. A good group to give to. These refugees are from camps in Sudan, and political refugees from Iraq and other countries. Since they come here with the clothes on their back, they need everything. Churches in the area adopt them and help them find jobs, learn English, learn how to ride the bus and grocery shop, ect. Plus, it is fun talking to the other women.
Been having trouble with my daughters insurance. I am working on it, but this stuff makes me crazy! Pre existing conditions, 19 and not in school, is she disabled or not, ect. I think Cerebral Palsy might have something to do with it. Of course, the new law comes in next year and the worries will be over for a few years. But, until then. I hope she doesnt get sick.
Well, got to get outside for a little bit. Always makes me feel better.
Have a good one!
