I also have more problems when I overuse my hands. I am a nurse and take blood pressures all day. Some days, I might take 100 or more pressures. And my right hand is killing me. The other day, I got a cuff with a leak in it. Now, you can take an accurate BP with that, but you have to pump 2x as much to get the air in. After an hour, I took that thing and pitched it in the trash. My co workers were afraid our boss would get upset as the budget is tight. The next day, he took me aside and said he ordered some replacement cuffs. So, dont make more work for your hands than you have to.
Last but not least, I take Celebrex. If I miss my meds in the morning, by noon my hands hurt a lot. Otherwise they are just a little sore sometimes. Stretching also helps. And keep them warm.
