This is my second week on Methotrexate, humira and folic acid. They pulled me off the Cellcept finally. My sed rate (or inflammation makers) were still at 60 to 80. I am also still on 10 mg prednisone. and all kinds of pain pills. The previous meds or something has caused 2 disc in my back to degenerate. I am also having problems with my left hip which is just waiting on a mri. Its only been 2 weeks so I may be premature to be worrying about this this new med. I don't feel any better, even worse and I am waiting on MRI results for my back and to get my sleep apnea machine and find out what my numbers have to be to have an operation on my stomach. I feel With the drug selection we have went backwards. It has been a year and a half or so and my numbers have only came down once when taking high dose prednisone. (finally a question). Is cellcept ( a biological drug) compared to Methotrexate a step backwards? I dont know how long before he decides if its working or not but it took forever for him to try this drug.
I hope its isnt that long again. My swelling in my legs has gone down some, but joint and muscle pain is worse.
