MTX has some tough side effects that the Folic Acid helps to prevent. Call your doctor and see if upping the Folic acid will help.
Have you been on Plaquenil?

I just checked my bottle and it says 1 mg folic acid a day. They havent tryed Plaquenil yet, I think this is just a hail mary pass that was easy to swap to fast because i had been telling him so long that the cellcept was killing me. I also tryed 2 infusions of rituckson. No help there either.
