Good luck and let us know what you find out! I'd be more scared about the lung biopsy personally, but I guess you were expecting it. I had two lymph node biopsies before. Are they doing an FNA or are they taking a whole node out? The FNA is no big deal! Just a little sore for a couple days. let us know how it goes! I'll be thinking of you!

I had a lymph node removed for biopsy when I was 15 and they were trying to dx me for the first time.

Light general on the table, no big deal, recovery was achy for several days, needed strong painkillers first 36 hours but really not that bad if you're in the hospital or just laid up and not trying to work. Tiny scar.

Im finding something strange. As soon as the decided the cellcept wasent working they decided to do the lung biopsy. Thats ok. But why put me back on the Prednisone and increase my cell cept dose. I would rather be as sick as possible, so there sure to get an active sample rather than have the test come back downgraded or normal. It will take a month to get off this amount of pred and I have no idea if you have to wein cellcept, but it took months to get to the dose i am on.

They want to make sure they get the inflammation under control, as it doing damage......they will still be able to see any issues that are there. They did my biopsy and a lovage at the same time.....which washes some cells out along with the piece they take with the biopsy. Do you know which type they are doing? They can do a VATS procedure too.....which is a lot more invasive. They never said anything to me about my lymph nodes.....maybe they are looking at other some else that could be contributing.....?

What. Is the reason they are doing biopsy on lungs and nodes?
Symptoms ?? Just curious as I have an apt with a pulmonologist and neurologist coming up.

@yaya Shortness of breath ,years of believing I had congestive heart failure to pneumonia.

@Beth He did say something about washing around the sample but thats it.
One week of so for results so we can all wait. But like we all know 99% of the test we do show nothing conclusive. Were the Health and hospital bail out program. ty all

Got results from the lung doc, he found nothing unusual. So now they will diecide if they should cut in for a larger sample

I am having alot of lung issues myself.. at least i think its lungs. WHY ARE THEY DOING THAT?
