Loop monitor

I went to the hospital today and had a cardiac loop monitor put in. I am sore but hopeful this will help me with my heart rhythm issues. Hope everyone else is well.

Sorry to hear this. I have occasional bouts of tachycardia, or weird moments of hypotension... my last time wearing a halter monitor, it freaked out a few times before they finally decided to let me go without medication... I know the arrhythmia can be very distracting. One of my good friends had very good look with ablation. (For him that was not due to MCTD, and I don't know whether my sporadic issues were or not.)

Please keep us posted on how you are doing. Does the loop monitor do anything to restore the rhythm? I'm unfamiliar with it.

Curious about arrhythmia. Recently I've notice feeling (arrhythmic beats) quickly followed by slight shortness of breath. Nothing crazy just noticable. common? I'm newly diagnosed and 24 I'd hate to need or have serious heart condition already:/
