So, for the past week, I have been nauseous when I eat. Doesn't matter what I eat, even toast is doing it. So, I haven't been eating much. Usually if I don't eat, my blood sugar will drop and bad things happen, but I haven't had that happen this entire week. On wednesday I started craving water, which is quite unusual for me, but I have been trying to drink as much water as I can. Also for the past month or so the itching has just been driving me completely crazy. I don't know if these things are related. Has anyone dealt with anything like this before? or do any of you have any suggestions about what might be going on with me? Thanks!

You might need some blood work to check out your kidney and liver function. I have had episodes of nausea that will last for days, but not the other stuff with it.

I struggle with extreme nausea and can't eat much at a time because of gastroparesis.(also checking out some other things because I have bad abdominal pain also, which could just be the GP. I also have episodes of extreme thirst when I know I shouldn't be dehydrated-- never have figured out what those episodes are all about. As for the itching-- if you have no rash it could mean a liver problem. Are you on any meds that are hard on the liver? I agree with Mary Ann, some bloodwork might be a good idea. Any sign of yellowing of he white's of your eye?

You may need to be checked for diabetes again because IM sure u have been. Especially if u r on hc or prednisone now. Tj

You sound like me. Get those bloods done! I think pancreatic levels out of whack can cause the itch as well...

Thanks everyone. I have been thinking maybe it was something kidney related, but don't want to think about what that may mean. I am on plaquenil and mobic, but have never had any serious problems from them before. I haven't noticed any yellowing, but I will keep an eye on it (no pun intended!)

I get the nauseated and very bloated feeling randomly with abdominal pain it just comes and goes nobody can figure put what the problem is. I just keep zofran on hand

I get the nauseated and very bloated feeling randomly with abdominal pain as well. They have done a lot of gastro tests and have not found a cause.

I have not had the itchies in a while, but I had them on and off for a month once. I don't get a rash, I just itch and it feels like it is coming from inside my skin. My cure has been ice packs. Sometimes it is just my legs and sometimes it is all over. My rheumy is clueless about it, but last rheumy told me I would get itchies.

I hope you find some answers and comfort soon!

I also get the intermittent nausea, bloating , abdominal pain, etc. it can come up suddenly which is a real problem when trying to make plans of any kind (or get through the day at work). I take Levsin for cramping and diarrhea and another prescription med for nausea as needed. My colonoscopies have all been ok so I just deal with it when it happens.

Thanks everyone. Liver, pancreas and kidney tests all ok. They decided that it is just gastritis and gave me some pills for the nausea. I can only take them at night though because they knock me out, but it seems to carry through to the next day though. It seems to be getting better, only getting nauseous if I eat a big meal.
