Severe Headaches that mamke me not even able to function. ANyone else. This just started this week . Dizzy, ringing in ears. very weird Also I work in a DrOffice and we have the fluorescnet lights and I feel like they make me crazy... ANyone else have this issue. I tried to find a diff bulb to replace them but apparently they dont make anything to fit this light except fluorescent.

I have headaches, and I also have dizziness and ringing in my ears. When did the ringing start? If it started recently, go see an ENT as soon as you can. I put it off, and they told me that they may have been able to help me had I gone to see them earlier. But, now there is nothing they can do, I could get a hearing aid or do some sort of behavioral therapy to get used to it, but nothing that will ever make it go away. The dizziness may be connected to that also. They have not found any reason for the dizziness.
As for the headaches...what kind of headaches are they? I get two different kinds. One is cluster headaches which feels like someone is stabbing me in the forehead with an ice pick. I used to take gabapentin for that until I got pregnant and now I don't get them very often anymore. The other kind I get is migranes. My pcp gave me some medicine for those. Either way, check with your pcp, they should be able to help you with them.
Flourescent lights bother me sometimes, I get headaches from them, but I don't have to deal with them often, so I don't have any advice for you.

Thank you.. Yes y internist doesnt know what to do wtih me anymor so she just told me to go to the ER today. Well i am so tired of 3000$ bills for them to just make me comfortable and send me home so I did not go.. Went to the eye dr just to make sure it wasnt the plaquenil but im good. he thinks it is migraines. OMG it is th eworse pain ever.
I just donet understand all this crap and my husband is getting frusterated. He has had to pick me up from work twice becuase i could nt drive. He said yesterday maybe its time for disability...
That is just not me. I just want somone to say its the MCTD or something else but no one ever does that. My CT was normal so IDK.

I used to have severe migraines. They really came out when I was in perimenipause. After that, no more migraines! I didnt have many until I was in my 30s. Watch your cycles. Also, Mine were triggered by hormones and by aspertame( nutrasweet). It is used less since Splenda came out. Thank God!
Get to feeling better soon. And check your sinuses. My neighbor was having horrible migraines, after a week of checking her brain, they checked her sinuses. Gave her some antibiotics and the head ache went away.
