Just figured that I have a flare going on started almost 2 weeks ago
With chest pain then extreme weakness I couldn't even drive my daughter to school I was dx with AFIB in Dec so my Dr thought it was that. Well nope started having these spells where coldness runs up my chest and tingling so scary thought I was going to pass out then EXTREME fatigue and weak shortness of breath and stomach pain.
Stress induced this one and I have not had one since my first episode 4 yrs ago. They found thrush today also.... Question started prednisone today on plaquenil already. What is this burning in my upper chest?
Have an apt in the morning with the rheumatologist.

Worked for me. You don't want pericarditis to go on too long, or it could cause valve damage. Supposedly, mine never got that bad, but I thought my heart was never quite the same after that, and only exercise to 85% of capacity.
chest CT was normal.
