Hi all, I live in NY (north of NYC but south of Albany). I NEED an expert in MCTD...someone who will make sure my tx is coordinated and I'm getting what I need.

Dr. Swerdlow will remember me, but no one else in his office will. Harry Spiera, would, be he is probably too old to be practicing. I was a male lupus patient, rare enough that he would remember, a skinny kid with ratty blonde hair. Tell him first name Matthew, diagnosed Lupus approximately 1973, son of a renowned learning disabilities specialist who lived right down the street, hx of pericarditis, was at Mt. Sinai hospital. (Sorry I can't post my last name.)

He is mostly a lupus doctor, MCTD was almost unknown back then. But he got me treated, and probably saved my life.
