On the blood pressure issue, I believe I had similar issues with Hydralizine. Not good. I finally got my bp controlled with just Spironolactone and no other bp meds. Turned out my bp was caused by over production of aldosterone and Spironolactone blocks it.
I have always liked him but I dont think he get it. I am disappointed in the response I got from all 5 of the drs I went to, except from the dermatologist. I felt like I was back with all the signs of MCTD and the Drs who thought I was a hypochondriac! BTW, it was a dermatologist who diagnosed my MCTD!!!
So frustrating! I think things are under control now, for the most part. But the trust I had in these drs has sure been shaken!

You replied to my first post here. Thank you!
I'm very irritated with your doctors because they seem to be forgetting to take care of their patient...you! They're not communicating with each other or with you. You're dealing with some very frightening symptoms and possibilities, doing everything you're supposed to do, and YOU got chastised?
Good for you for speaking up for yourself!! That one seems to change the subject on you when he thinks you're questioning him. He minimizes your symptoms, "a little rash". That's condescending! You deserve to be respected.
I once had a doctor be very very rude to me (unrelated to this diagnosis) and the next appointment I told him I needed that to change or I didn't think we would be able to work together further. Even though he had plenty of people in his waiting room and didn't need me, he apologized.
I was a bit surprised actually but I did mean it. I had already started looking for another doctor. We never had another problem after that.
You need and deserve to trust your doctors. I'm so sorry they behaved so badly.
