Hello everyone and yes I am still not a happy camper
I have had swelling throughout my body, legs arms chest and face.
I am down to 30mg prednisone as of today but am still taking
2000mg cellcept. I am also taking lasix and another water pill daily.
Normally with the water pills my flow is clear. The swelling in my legs and arms is mostly gone. My facial and neck swelling is still extreme with pressure, stiffness and some redness. At different times not connected to anything That i realize it will even swell more to the point that my eyes water and squint. My chest and upper body is also still swollen. Today I took my water pills as normal yet my flow was yellow, making me think Im not dehydrated yet Im not removing the amount of fluid that I was. So i am going to reduce my fluid pills tomorrow as my gp lets me regulate my own fluid pills due to my background.
Anyway my question. Does this sound normal for prednisone. Cellcept says it has similar side effects and my rhumy doesn't think it is. My insurance company has contacted me about the cellcept and are threatening not covering it anymore. But if these side effects aren't pred then Hopefully we can swap to a more normal drug like metho~~~~ the one allot of you all take.

Is the edema in your lower limbs?
When you push on the "swelled" areas does it leave a pit, ir is it just tight?
Something sounds scary.
On my legs it was a pit when i pushed, in one post i told yall how i was entertaining the kids making dimple animals
This is harder, and when i flex it gets harder but i know its not muscles. Across my chest, upper arms and face and neck. Lower arms are fine.
