I am taking cell cept max dose, and my rhumy still saw inflamation in the lungs and lymph nodes. So he sent me to a lung doctor for a biopsyand added predisone to my treatment again. The lung doctor after reviewing my film he said what ever it is it comes and goes. He called it Diffuse interstitial lung disease. He did not want to do the biopsy unless the findings would change the treatment. Well, I get a call, were doing the biopsy.with no explanation. But my lungs are doing better now. not perfect but much better. I would think they would want to do the test while I am inflamed. I hate calling them all the time but I know I have a problem and so do they but a negative biopsy is a waist of time.Anyone have any suggestions?
Does whatever there looking for always there no matter my breathing?
Its a nasal biopsy to the lung so its a smaller sample.
I feel like I should start reducing my pred to assist in finding my cause.

BUT if it's expensive and/or risky exceedingly painful, that would make it a harder decision, obviously.
I am still having episodic breathing problems, and I tend to think it's inflammatory, and also episodic, but I will need some testing soon, too, and will likely face some version of a similar decision, though maybe with other tests.
