I had another major computer issue and had to have some repairs, then, I found I could not get on the site. I have finally figured out how to get back on. I had to change my password repeatedly. Sometimes I just feel so old, like I would not have these issues if I were younger and had a younger brain! Anyway, my stress level is nuts right now, but I keep hoping my life will level out.
I went back to the ENT dr who says I need allergy shots but have to change my heart meds to do that. I am good on my heart meds, but hate the constant post nasal drip, cough and clearing of my throat. But I also have continued signs that some of this is my reflux. My vocal chords are still inflammed. I did have my throat dilated and can swallow better, but I am beginning to think I am refluxing into my sinus cavity. I cant bend over at all without refluxing. Makes it hard to wash my feet in the shower! LOL!
Anyway, I am back on line and maybe can keep up better. Hope you are all having a great day.

I hear you on the reflux. Mine is still very predictable-- tomato sauce is quickly moving onto the list of things I can never eat unless I am in the middle of a course of Omeprazole. After the reflux, yeah, something happens to my voice-- my close friends notice it, because I talk to them once every week or two though my wife and clients and anyone else who sees me every day doesn't notice the gradual change.
I'm starting a separate post r.e. current symptoms for me-- basically, I had a rough summer, but the fall and early winter is much better. Headaches and dysphasia are the main issues, though episodic fatigue is also a major problem. One new symptom-- chills, body aches, and occasional fever-- that I'm not sure is MCTD, though it feels a lot like it. Had a terrible episode after the Zoster vaccine, and then another milder one a couple of weeks ago. Day one of the recent episode was the worst, fortunately my day off, day two was manageable, though I was pretty slow and creaky at work.
Anyway, hang in there, hope this board livens up a little bit. Sorry about the computer problems. And for what it's worth, a lot of the kids I work with are coming around to the same conclusion I've reached about end-user-inteface design for most websites: Most of them are junk. I finally deleted Uber-- I only need it four or five times a year, it only saves me about $40 over cab fare at most, and if I waste an hour or two updating, rebooting, logging in, etc., Uber winds up being more expensive. It's really sad that this site is so bad-- I'm not sure a younger brain would help much!
