The brain fog is strong today. Something that normally takes me 5 minutes to do has taken over 2 hours. It's a high joint pain & exhaustion day as welll. How long does this normally last?

I am glad the fog has lifted for you. I do not think there is a normal to all of the effects of MCTD. If there is, I have not found it yet.

Brain fog does seem generally worse when physical pain is worse, but not always. Recovery time from brain fog is always worse when pain is worse, when I feel physically better, I have the stamina to think creatively and, say, find my mobile phone in three minutes instead of 20. Or pull over briefly and say, "I just passed Wilshire, I previously passed Venice, therefore I know I am going north" and then zip back out into traffic having only lost 20 seconds of travel time.

If I am exhausted and in pain, on a really bad day, I might just cry from frustration, or pull over for longer.
