@MaizyDottie Congratulations!! The amazing gift of pregnancy and a baby is a miracle always, regardless of age, etc. Our infertility struggles do make it that much sweeter!! Enjoy this precious time! Keep us updated!

Congrats, MaizyDottie! That gives me hope. I definitely see a potential for donor eggs too, if the next few cycles are not successful.

MaizyDottie, I am soooo excited for you and your precious little boy on the way!!! You just made me tear up (hahaha, I too am a hormonal and easily crying mess, so don't feel bad those of you who understand!) I have not been on baby center, but judging from the reviews of those of you who have, I think I will steer clear. I am 41, and our little "bump" is 18 weeks and 2 days today!!! It was a lonnnnngggg road to get here though, so for those of you struggling, frustrated, and heartbroken, don't give up, but DO take care of yourselves and your emotional/physical well-beings! My DH and I were super lucky on the FET, only one implanted (RE's recommendation because of PGS screened...etc.) and it worked! But before that, it was two full years, one failed stim cycle (stopped 7 days in due to estrogen flatline), one failed egg retrieval (had 4 embies, two fertilized, then arrested before blast stage...) and in the meantime, I got the joy (note my inappropriate sarcasm here...ha) of having a bilateral salpingectomy because of swollen/blocked tubes, and RE also suggested, and I relented, that she remove my left ovary prior to FET because of enometrioma on that ovary during retrieval. Whew! Sorry for the lengthy backstory, but I agree with some of your previous comments that sometimes those of us who struggle with infertility have an even harder time when we see only the positive stuff because it can feel so isolating and negative if everyone else gets pregnant with ease or without even trying. Please send baby dust if you read this, I am so excited about our anatomy scan tomorrow, because we will get to find out what we are having, and of course check all the important measurements of heart, brain, femur as well. So far, all of our scans, bloodwork, etc. have been perfect, so fingers crossed tomorrow goes just as well! Baby dust to all of you! Sometimes wishes really do come true! XOXO
