Hello....I am new to the group. I too have been married for 30yrs this Aug. The past 5 have been like a rollercoaster after finding out that he had been cheating for years. I chose to keep going because of the kids and our 2 grandchildren, as well as our beautiful home. However, I have been very unhappy and the trust has been shattered, not to mention a very deep scar from his infidelity and lies. I tried to keep the peace, be the happy wife and mother, however it just isn't working for me and I do not feel the love for him anymore. I have written a letter to him explaining how I feel and do truly believe we should separate, but I have mixed emotions and I am scared. I think I am more scared of what the children will say than anything. I am independent and can function without him...so that doesn't scare me. I am just looking for a little bit of guidance and help along the way as to whether or not this is what I should be doing.......anyone???
