As some of you may have read, I attend MA meetings (marijuana anonymous). Part of what we do is work a 12 step program and share our experience, strength and hope with eachother. There is a campout going on this weekend in the So Cal beach area. Anyway, I wanted to share a bit about how nice it is to be around fellow addicts who are in recovery, clean and sober and enjoying life. It is no fun to be an isolated sober addict in my opinion, though I do still tend to isolate. It was real nice to be there and connect with people and remember what it was like when I was newer and how hard it was to be around people ande deal with something like a campout without the normal weed or whatever else that went along with it. Not to mention how nice it was to get away to nature and the beach. I want to encourage you all to get connected with others like you in your area so you all can help eachother like what is going on for me - it really is great.

so glad you are at peace in your new world of sobriety..I want what you have so so bad but.. am now having grand-mal siezer problems from withdrawl last night. It wont stop me from longing for my life back.
I need isolation but must reach out for help 'now'.Once the buffer of green is gone the world is so raw,so intence. I know i will relaps again. I am a little dilusional,phycotic from racing thoughts.mixed state now..very dangerous for me.My roommates are drunks and drug abusers so I am trying to move to a sober home immediatly.
Like you suggested, surround myself with others seeking the same goal-
I live in Utah and there is not an MA fellowship here only NA, AA (I feel that I am not really a fit and don't belong to either of those groups although I am told any 12 step program will do). I am envious that you got to get out and go camping. We have avoided getting out in nature because our very favorite thing was to do it high, look at everything and think.
If anyone has suggestions, I would love to hear them. I have been weed free for 142 days. I am proud of that, but feel like I have had to hide from the world and the things I love to do it.
I went online and found an MA meeting in Utah (I remember from an MA convention a woman from a Utah meeting)
