Marijuana Addiction & Recovery Support Group
This community is dedicated to those looking to overcome their addiction to marijuana, a drug produced from parts of the cannabis plant. Join the group to find support among people who are also looking to cease their habit of smoking marijuana, share your experience, and get advice. It's not easy to kick the habit, but together we can.

I think the first thing you need to understand is that the reason weed felt wonderful at first is that it released all of the feel good chemicals in your brain. It does not fee good anymore because your dopamine receptors need time to heal.. maybe give yourself a long break, like a year and see how you feel then... you probably will not go back to weed. But if you do, do not make it a habit.
When I had weed and it was the weekend, I smoked like a fiend also. I suspect it re-wired your brain. But have read that it is reversible.
I hope so, and wish you well.
I have found just recently that a good addiction counselor really can be tremendously helpful (My son is starting to go to one). They are available both through paid insurance methods and through public assistance programs. It must sound like a no-brainer for me to even state that, but I had no idea the unique position that a good addiction counselor is in to be able to help.
Take care of yourself.
More bullshit just don't do it again....I HATE THIS DRUG LOL FUCK IT!
