It's not easy to kick the habit, but together we can.
Ashley, that is very common.. Weed stays in your system for a long time actually. THC is stored in your fat cells. If you drink a ton of water and work out 7 days a week and have relatively little fat ie under 12% weed can get out of your system in a couple of days. However for most people it takes at least 14-30 days to get the majority of THC out of your system. Even though people pass drug tests by then some of it is still chilling in your fat cells, not to mention all the other cannabinoids.
So yeah it makes sense.
Shesh, now even weed is effecting my work...I thought I had my problem with drinking solved....lol...only joking BUT it is occurring to me that weed is not such an innocent drug....not better than drinking...like I was trying to convince myself...well, for me it is not....I gotta break this habit too....or really I have just switched my addiction, like my sister did too....ahhh...
She is finally begining to see why she is not an alcoholic....she stopped smoking for about a week and drank wine every night....
We are both addicts...
I have to worry about me now though....
Thank you all for your responses, they have really helped me...
it's like finding your bank card in the bottom of the washing machine after looking for it for a week.
everything makes sense. its really satisfying, and you wonder why you never looked there, and what you're going to do now that you have it back. you never want to lose your bank card again.
the bank card represents mental clarity. lol.
(also, when you quit smoking weed you won't lose your bank card as much anymore. or am i the only one that happened to?)
The weed acted as a buffer which kept my emotions at a safe distance..i was self medicating because i did not have the tools to deal with reality..Can you relate? If you think you are an addict ask yourself this..Can i live without getting outta my nut? If the answer is no..You have a serious problem..Our addiction is just a symptom of the problem..WE are the only ones who stand in the way of our happiness..Drugs just make it worse..And yes it does get more horrific..Your body builds a tolerance and the need for more and more is insane..chasing the buzz..It does stop working..I got to the point of i cant live with it and i cant live without it.. I contemplated suicide.. i wanted to die...I am lucky to be alive and for this i am grateful lovelight to you XMBX
I would suggest that with the kickass weed available today, one is still not quite right for a couple of days after toking --of course if you toke everyday this won't be as noticeable, because you're constantly in a fog.
I am happy not to be toxic and sluggish with whatever else is in weed these days - the 400 other chemicals besides THC - maybe some pesticides.
Also, weed disrupts sleep and I am sure this means deep sleep to the point where you don't dream as much.
I am now sleeping a lot more soundly, which could account for the energy I am finally having through the day.
