Happy Mother's Day to all of you brave women, and to the men who support the mother's in their life. May you have a wonderful year of good news and good health. As I fondly remember my mother who passed 24 years ago, I am thankful for her words to never settle and for imparting wisdom that led to me learning about Lynch Syndrome. Though she did not realize the genetic link (or official name), she began my journey with what little knowledge she had. Thanks to her I actively pursued doctor's that were caring and understanding of my family's history. One good doctor has led me to another, and I am well monitored. Thank you Mom for my many blessings! To all of you, those who have had the knowledge and those of you just discovering your genetic link, I wish you much hope and good screening!!
