i was young when i got told i had lyme disease only about 6 at first they didn't know what it was and thought my mother was beating me .. they did blood tests and told me it was this but i don't i understand it

I think the answer to that question depends on who you ask! There is lots of information about Lyme disease on the internet. However, the best thing for you would be to find a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD).

Sorry to hear that you got Lyme at such a young age! There are lots of people here that can answer questions for you. I hope you get the help that you need.

Lyme disease is very complex. It's best to learn about it in small bites. You already have your own experience to draw on.

Since it has gone chronic because it took them so long to identify it it is going to be very hard to get rid of. Lyme Disease is very persistent and unless you find a very good Lyme Literate Doctor it will be very hard if not impossible to get rid of completely.
