I'm new to this group but not lyme. Hello fellow lyme warriors. 


I see so many newly diagnosed lymies....so sorry but welcome to an unexpected life journey. As you research this disease you will find many people who want to sell you one thing or another ... some are real some is snake oil. So to help save you some steps here are some reliable authors: Stephen Buhner " Healing Lyme" Natural Antibiotics Sorry forgot the actual title. Dr Lee Cowden. Richard Horowitz. 


What is frustrating is finding what works for your body. What works for me may not work for you. Just remember hydrate, detox, nutrition, find an LLMD or if you are fortunate and your pcp is willing to treat Lyme awesome! But be aware most do not believe in lyme or chronic lyme. Support! Emotional, physical....family and friends sometimes just don't get it. It's not their fault remember before you had lyme? You believed the media it's nothing you get a bite have a rash get abx and you are fine. We ALL know this is not true. I thank God for people who have helped me along the way and for support groups like this one. There may even be a local lyme support group in your area. Remember when you feel alone and discouraged to ask for help we are all here for each other. This is a long journey we are all on.

Hi I have read parts of the book by Stephen Buhner and started to use some of the herbs. I was unable to only use a couple herbs not the entire protocol. I am very sensitive to a lot of things. I cannot do pharmaceuticals at all and I have to go slowly with whatever I use. I found what I did read very helpful. I have since loaned it out again. But I do have friends who have used books by the authors I have listed. Everyone is different and what works for me may not work for you and visa versa. Hope you find healing ....
