Thank you for this post Cave76. When I read the site and saw some
others, some people appeared to have excellent results from going
to NuTech clinic in India. Did you come across any of those?
I'm not advocating for it, I'm just curious if people know if it's worked
for some people?.

In my long experience as a Lyme advocate and reader of thousands of posts by Lyme patients I know that there's nothing as potent as a placebo or belief in a 'cure'.

The 'facts' are ---- embryonic stem cell use is still in its infancy. I eagerly await the time when it CAN be used. But that's not here yet.

I'm not going to try and persuade anyone not to spend thousands of dollars at a clinic that has a scam artist at it's head. And yes, some will be 'helped'. Some people even get 'cured' by drinking their own urine. Sigh.

Shroff or NuTech with appropriate Indian government agencies. You are

Regarding the regulatory situation-the 2007 guidelines are currently under

[A side note: whoever is behind this site: http://lymediseaseguide.org/stem-cell-procedures should be encouraged (forced?) to read all about embroyonic stem cell treatments. Sites like that prey on very sick people with expensive, not-proven, if not dangerous treatments. I'm ashamed for them.]

I've spent many an hour tracking down charlatans during the last decade or so. It's easy, once you know what to look for.

But I didn't start out with that level of suspicion. I started (when I first got Lyme) by 'believing' that antibiotics were the devils work. :)

Consequently I tried almost everything except abx at first.

Another 'cure' I tried for the pain in my abdomen was a really pretty stone and a silk scarf (sold out of the trunk of my naturopaths car) in a vivid green. I still have the stone somewhere. The scarf is----- where? Dunno.

Did they cure the pain in my abdomen or even make it a teensy bit better? No. Surprise!

Those aren't all, by a long shot. But they led me to investigating all the unbelievable claims one sees on the Internet and thence down to the forums.
