Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.
Everyone is different with this, so I don't want to give advice that might not work for someone
else. However, I do know that sugar and any processed foods and alcohol or caffeine do disrupt
people with Lyme. I still struggle with my diet but find when I follow it I'm so much better.
That is only one piece of the big Lyme puzzle as you no doubt know. Also, magnesium helped me with aches and also Epson salt baths. Please keep posting here, though the replies might be sparse at times. Sorry you're having to deal with all this. I send you my best wishes and please keep posting.
