Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.
I’m curious if anyone has the same symptoms as I do or could answer a question of mine. I was never bit by a tick( that I know of). I never once had a bite mark or even a bullseye. One day I woke up in this terrible rash. It started around my face and made it to my body and spread really bad. I was tested for lymes disease and it came back positive. Everything I look up doesn’t show the symptoms or rash that I did have. They tried to treat the rash but nothing worked at the time. It was about 3 weeks until it all went away. Now, I get really bad headaches and I’m constantly worn out. I never have the energy and I can’t be out in the sun because it makes me really sick to my stomach. I am always tired, too. I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Not having a bullseye and having a rash that spreads the whole way around my body doesn’t seem like that’s all that came from a tick bite.
You need to find a Lyme Literate Dr. Someone who can test you
for the infections and treat you.
If I were guess it sounds like Bebesia. This co-infection is known as
N.America's version of Malaria its treatable.
Most labs don't test for co-infections. Most Drs aren't educated in Lyme Disease or treatment protocol.
