Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.

They announced that with the segment. I know there is such a thing as Lyme Rage, I have experienced this with uncontrollable outburst of temper but for it to escollate to murder!
I don't know if they are using this as an excuse but it will get "Lyme" noticed if it is. Like I told my husband it is a shame that it would take something like this to happen to make doctors stand up and take note that this disease harms more people than they think.
My prayers are with the Pastors family and their community. They are also with the family of the one charged of murder and if it was due to the disease having mental affects on his brain my prayersd are with him too. If it is due to this it could happen to any of us who are deeply affected with this disease.

I think it is this Pastor's murder that is tipping me over the edge and finally getting me motivated to do something. What? I dont know yet.
I want to do something to help do my part in bringing about real changes.

I think Lyme could possibly have been a trigger. But there has to be something much deeper that lead this guy to kill.
Then I realized that is what my dad had too. I look at all the symptoms and they were chillingly close. The thing is it killed my father He died at 53 from a major stroke. He was misdiagnosed too. He was told he had cushings syndrome. I now know better. I can now forgive him for his "hot temper".
When I found out about Lyme rage it finally made sense. Thank goodness apparently my meds have made a difference where that is concerned and I am so gratefull for that. If yu never been through it it is hard to understand.
