and I mean that in the nicest possible way!
Someone made an offer on our house today. Which is a good thing. But they want to close on December 14th. I haven't been able to sleep all night.
I'm in grad school with finals ending the night of the 12th. I work full-time. All of our five children and 2 mates are coming for Christmas. I already have my husband doing all the shopping as I physically can't handle that.
Who packs this place all up. Hubby says he'll hire movers but we need to pack it. Who puts it all away and has our new house ready for Christmas. The plan was to stay here for Christmas. I had just started to decorate here.
These are the times I really hates Lymes disease!!! Seriously, my husband doesn't think this is a big deal. He's just relieved if we solve the double house payment thing.
Where's the Long Island Ice Tea when ya need it????

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Sorry you have to move before Christmas. Get those kids home and let them help you out. I think your hubby has a good idea getting a moving company to help out also. Take care and hope you are feeling better. Enjoy your new home.
Faith,
Where have you been? I haven't seen you around for awhile. Did you ever get your test results back? Did the lyme doctor confirm you have lyme? Have you started treatment yet. Let us know. I,ve been worried about you. Take care and hope your feeling better.
If not, do not worry about getting set up by Christmas. Things will wait.
You need to prioritize right now. Get through your finals first. Let your husband organize the movers and start packing.
Dealing with all of this would exhaust a healthy person! Have a regular ice tea and pretend it is a Long Island one!
Good luck!
I turned down the offer on the house yesterday. Crazy, I know when the whole country is in a real estate slump. But it feels right for me and I feel peace after a week of very hard decision making.
Maybe the buyers would be willing to work with you on the closing date?
At any rate, you need to do what is best for you. I am glad things have calmed down!
How is that iced tea?
