Lyme Disease Support Group
Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.
reactions are caused by die off and getting the neurotoxins out
of your body. You could be having what they call 'herx' reactions.
I've done a lot of Epsom salt baths which helped me with
joint and muscle pain. I sometimes put in lavender essential
oils also. I'm a big fan of essential oils and I would take some
on my forehead too for relaxation. Or even on my joints.
I also took extra magnesium which helped with
muscle pains and melatonin helped me sleep.
I'm reluctant to give much advice. I'd maybe try to speak
with a nurse at your doctors office to see if they recommend
Epson salt. Also, to see if they're giving you something to
move the toxins out of your body.
