Lyme Disease Support Group
Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.
You have a good start with a doc who isn't afraid to treat you. There are some good books out there by Stephen Buhner (I use) and Dr Lee Cowden too. It's a long process to fight lyme. Patience is needed as what works for one may not work for the next person. You have to find what helps your body heal and get to remission.
I am wondering how you are doing now? When I was diagnosed with Lyme, I felt like I had a jack hammer going in my body, I felt vibrations also and they were awful. They subsided after 18 months of treatment of antibiotics. I still have other chronic Lyme symptoms but have improved significantly. I hope you are on a good path!
