Hello TOTom, Welcome to this group. Have you just recently been diagnosed with Lyme? Are you receiving treatment? Sometimes things can be overwhelming in the beginning. Have you ever seen the documentary, now available on Netflick and in dvd, "Under Our Skin?" There's also a second version of it. I know it did a lot to educate me when I did see it. I was able to find a support group also about ten years ago, and that helped too.
Its good that you have come on here. Reaching out is most important
as this illness has many challenges. Take good care.

Hi Rosi, thanks for the warm welocme. I was just recently diagnosed and am on anti biotics but, I think I have had Lyme for quite some time. What support group are you referring to?

Hi TOTom, Good to hear that you're being treated. Does you doctor happen to be a Lyme Literate doctor? That means someone who has been trained to treat it? Not just follow the CDC guidelines of 6 wks. of doxycylin? I was rather vague about the support group. That's one which I found in the area where I live. Now there are two others. I don't go as often as I did in the beginning which was
about 12 years ago, but I still keep in touch with the members and do attend every once in a while. Hope this helps.
