Hello! Any help greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone! I'm new here. Over the last 8 years I have been experiencing many odd symptoms. I've been from Doctor to Doctor, test after test. Most recently my Neuro checked blood work from my PcP which showed I was positive for one band. He sent me for more blood work and it showed two bands. A few months later he sent me again and it's now showing three.

He referred me in to infectious disease doctor. He said that a Lyme diagnosis requires 5 positive bands. Why am I getting more and more bands?

Can anyone recommend a doctor that specializes in Lyme in the NJ/NYC area?

A few of my symptoms include
Itchy skin
Blurry vision
Fatigue
Muslce twitching
Clumsy
Redness on face
Intense neck pain
Tingling in face, top of head.

There's more that I can't even think of right now.

If you go to the www.ilads.org website there's a place to
request referrals to Lyme doctors. If you put in your zip code,
they will send the closest ones to your area. I'm on the west
coast and not familiar with the ones in NY, NJ. other than
Richard Horowitz MD who is in Hyde Park. I don't know if he
still practices and takes new patients. He just wrote a very
comprehensive book on Lyme disease. He's also on You Tube.
Most people use the Igenex Labs in Palo Alto CA for
testing. I don't know why you're getting more bands. Sometimes
if you're taking antibiotics and then get tested the bugs can come
out of hiding. I think I have that right. Also, all tests are not
always the determining factor. Sometimes you can test
negative and still have it. It takes a good LLMD to interpret
this and also diagnose you based on symptoms. .
