Finished Amoxicillin after a horrific time on Doxy. it's been two weeks now off ABX and I feel like me, granted my stomach is a mess. Its a given after so much ABX. I had a upper GI barium test done yesterday made my tummy hurt like hell by th evening hours, but i awake feeling pretty good.

I am terrified of ticks and here in Maine they are every where. I practically bathe in bug spray just to go outside. and when I see one on me I freak out, I can brush them off but still ewww, just writing about it gives me the creeps

I'm waiting for the Western Blot results

I am sorry to hear you have Lyme disease but glad that you are seeing improvement after being on antibiotics.
Have you gotten the results on your western blot test yet?

I also live in Maine and am terrified of getting bitten by another tick too! I feel like a drill sergeant with my family....tons of bug spray, tick checks and showers every night. Its a big pain in the A-- but it has to be done.

I would love to hear how your doing now.

Just to note here that this post was from 2014. I have used the herbs from Dr Q. Zhang. He has a clinic in New York City and also his own website. If this person comes on here after all this time, I would recommend working with a Lyme literate doctor. Maybe she already has one. Maybe her Western Blot came back negative? Let's hope so. Good luck with staying away from those ticks!!!!

Hello there. Lyme disease requires a very professional medical treatment, I think you should see several different doctors and continue to fight with lyme disease.But I heard that you took antibiotics, I think it isn’t a good treatment. I was a Lyme disease patient once, after few years, I found out a serial herb medicine which called DR ZHANG.
