Hello I am new around here. I was around about a year ago but forgot my password and email. It's been a long odessy, and I don't expect answers here I just frustrated and need to vet. In 2010 I had a sudden episode of nerve problems. It started with feeling like electric shocks going down the spine, followed by weakness, numbness, blurry vision, and muscle spasms. It last for a month or so. I had a mri of the brain it showed a very small, non spescific lession in the brain. They said it was too small to cause any symptoms and it was probably nothing. I got refered to a lyme doc. She ran the western blot, the elisa. Send to the lab in ca. It was all negative. I'd had a tick bite with no symptoms in 08. Their were 2 numbers that were a little high, that could have ment infection but the lab said it was too long after the bite and those numbers were false positive. Further studies should be normal. My lyme doc covinced me to try antboitcs for lyme. I was on antiboitcs for lyme for 6 months. Nothing changed. No effect. The repeat western blot was negaive just as the lab said it should be. In 2015 I had my second attack. This time worce then the first one. It went away after a month, this time thou I had kept having miny attacks. With burts of electric shocks, numbness, weakness, more so on the left then the right, and muscle spasams. I had another brain mri it showed the same lession this time it's grown. The radiologist was worried it may be a hint toward ms. I then had a third brain mri at a different clinic and this radiologist thought it was so small and meanless he charted normal mri. I just had a cspine mri and that was normal. I am currently labled as low probably for ms. I am going in for a lp next week. I am really frustrated to what's going on. I am going back to my lyme doc just to see what she thinks. It's been very frustarting. thank you for listening.
