Funny you should ask
. Yes. I've had lingering stomach
issues off and on. That's for about 8 years. I'd label mine
'digestive issues'. Sometimes my actual stomach area has
hurt. Other times my whole GI tract has felt irritated and
upset. In the beginning I had a lot of acid reflux.
There's a book called, ." The Lyme Diet". It says that
many Lyme people have problems with gluten. Also, with
most processed food and sugar.
I have taken gluten out and most of the above and
caffeine too. I stopped drinking coffee. I feel so much
better. I take digestive enzymes. It's taken quite a while
to make these changes.
It's been well worth it. For the last several months,
most of the discomfort I've had before is no longer there.
It's good to ask your doctor about this. I had my gall
bladder checked. That can sometimes be causing
problems.
