Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.
Some of the typical symptoms indacating a flare are sudden weakness, running a low temperature, joint and muscle aches, and develop oral and nasal ulcers. Whenever I usually feel a flare coming on I experience muscle or joint pain, fatigue or a low-grade fever.
Every lupus patient is different and being that you're newly diagnosed, it's important that you pay attention to your symptoms since they may be common to the flares that you'll experience in dealing with this illness. If your back back pain is located in your lower back towards either side of your body, it may be an indication of renal involvement. Hopefully, your doctors are currently running tests to see what's going on with your kidneys.
