I get that all the time at least 3 times a week, but I don't know if it related to my lupus.

I have central nervous system lupus (cns lupus) and yep, that's more lupus fun. I'm sorry you have to deal with that too.

I too deal with the tremors, so does my Mom. It's no fun at all and I'm sorry to hear you're going through it. I hope you're seeing a doctor who's willing to help you with that. I tell my doctors about it and they have no response. :(

I get that too, but not often enough to be a major problem.

Endocrine system malfunctions can cause tremors...I get really bad shaking when doctors give me medications containing epinephrine or acetaminophen. Those are known adverse reactions to those medications.

But I get minor tremors sometimes when I'm not taking any medications, so I think tremors from being ill and tremors from medications are two different things.

I often get shaking when I'm stressed. I suppose that's an anxiety attack. It doesn't take much to give me an anxiety attack, even though I'm not a particularly nervous person. Panic attacks and anxiety attacks are common with lupus and ME/CFS. When I'm working on something where a mistake could be a problem, my hands start shaking and I have to stop and try to calm down.

I've also had seizures with violent shaking. But that's clearly something different from tremors.

I also have bad tremors when I am in a flare... IVIG took care of it thankfully!

Thanks everyone for your responses. I sometimes get tingling along with the tremors, which I'm assuming is just my body telling me to take it easy. There's always something fun happening with lupus isn't there? plus I have scleroderma, which greatly affects my skin and joints, making everything even more fun!
I too get anxiety attacks, and I can recognise that shaking. it doesn't take much to start one for me, but this shaking is usually sudden and doesn't last long. I've mentioned it to my doctors in the past, but as I have more life threatening concerns than any tremors, they're not too worried. oh well. here's hoping its just a passing thing.

I get tremors on higher doses of steroids.

I get tremors in my thumbs, especially when I am having a flare. I don't know if it is a symptom of other problems, but it is a weird feeling!

I had this happen for over a year. i have had a it happen when I am tired but not every day like before. That is just Lupus, it flares when it wants to. We just have to hold on for the ride and wait for it to pass.
