Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. I see pictures of my friends with their kids at the pools enjoying themselves and bonding with the kids and it is freaking depressing. I can almost hear the noise and smell the water and feel the warm sun. This disease is so unfair. It steals a lot of life from you. This time of year I feel like a prisoner in my own home.
I hear and feel your pain. I made a mistake and went out with the dog at prime hours yesterday. Now today I'm a prisoner of my lupus filled body.
I have tell you though it was a lovely walk thought through the flower park lilacs smells birds chirping.
I am frustrated and I hate the reprocussions. At least we can go out at night.
At least we all have no tan lines :)
