Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.
I will be starting this soon. Anyone try it for lupus? Results? Side effects? I think they have a financial program too, because I know this is a pricey drug...
Please tell us what this medicine is all about.
I have never ever heard anything about this medicine and as an SLE/MCTD sufferer I would be interested to know why you are going to take this medicine. Are you taking it to prevent a flare-up, or is it a medicine to assist you during a flare-up or is it a medicine to assist a particular organ of yours which has been "drawn into" and affected during a flare-up?
