Hi all,
I'm wondering if lupus has affected your reproductive organs? I know a lot of the medications we're on can have negative impacts. I've been told for years already that my meds have likely made me infertile. Not an easy thing to deal with when I was in my twenties... but I'd always had stable cycles being on birth control pills. (I know a lot of people are told not to be on the pill, but my docs deemed it safe for me).
Now my periods have stopped completely. 3 months ago I started prednisone and Imuran. Could the drugs have done this? or does lupus do this too? I'm seeing my doctor in a few days to discuss and figure it out. But I'm just curious if any of you have had issues.

I've been told several times by my rheumatologist that prednisone makes it impossible to become pregnant. It's not the lupus; however, it is recommended not to become pregnant during a flare-up, which is sort of difficult to determine.
