Hello! So, today I had a follow up appointment (been sick for over 4 years now)... I am on plaquenil and IVIG.. Anyhow, my ANA has always been pretty high, usually 1:640 or so.. anyhow they repeated blood work. and my CBC looked better than it has in a long time - my WBC was 4.3 (it got down as low as 2.1 without meds)... but my ANA was actually negative.. I have had my ANA checked about 15 times in the past 4 years, and it has always been strongly positive.. does this mean anything?? they have me down as MCTD I have CNS and peripheral nerve issues too.. among lots more! My Sed rate was the highest it's ever been at 20.. does that mean anything?? I'm so confused that I have a negative ANA now!?! any info on this?? thanks!
So I would say, you are on track, they may just adjust your medications some.

So, I was looking at the lab results (which I thought said ANA negative).. however, maybe it was not back yet- today it was resulted as Positive 1:320 and speckled... Does that make it more likely my disease (whatever it is), is not controlled?
The rest of the lupus panel is still pending - do yall know what is typically in a "lupus panel"?
The office tried calling me today, which they never to do tell me lab results, as its all online these days.. So i'm curious what they wanted (we played phone tag).. Thanks again!
