dry mouth and eyes

I suffer from dry mouth and eyes . I take drop for my eyes prescription. I am new to dry mouth. I drink a lot of water. I can't stand it. I brush and floss teeth because it can cause teeth to decay does anyone have any suggestions that might help dry mouth?

Whenever my mouth and eyes get dryer than usual, I know my inflammation is rising, so I take an extra InflamericZyme (my natural anti-inflammatory). But here are some other ideas that you can easily follow:

I had the same exact problem..and then finally I was diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome (they had me open my eyes wide then put this paper in my eyes..YES IN MY EYEs..and had me close my eyes and lay there for 8 minutes like that..NOT fun.. My doctor prescribed me pilocarpine. I haven't started it yet so fingers crossed. Another reason for the dryness could possibly be a change in your medication.

My mother had Sjogrens and my daughter also does and the drs have tod them to suck on sugar free candie to help keep their mouths moist and my daughter keeps ice by her at all times.and dr ordered a special eye drop that seems to help her eyes alot. Good luck to you feel better soon! Sue

One of my issues is dry mouth. I worked as a dental assistant up to last year. There is an over the counter mouth rinse called "Biotene".
Besides a mouth wash it comes in a gel and spray. It has helped me a lot! Chewing sugar free gum or sucking on an odd candy now and then. Most of the meds I am on have caused this side affect. See if you can find this product I mentioned and good luck!
