Creactive protein and sedrate blood test

My Primary Care Doctor recently ordered the Creactive blood test. It came back high and he told me to double my Prednisolone. My rheumy never ordered this test, only sedrate. What is the difference?

I'm not sure the difference, but just know that both are used to measure inflammation in the body. Another one doctors have used with me is Creatine Kinase. Here are some articles that might be helpful.
