Well I finally took the bull by the horn and got hold of my Doctor and now onto a rhummy, I am going to take the new drug, nothing ventured, nothing gained, yes it is scarey but also exciting at the same time. I know people that are getting their first dose next month, it is not at the end of the year as some have said. Wish me luck lol, best to all of you

I did not qualify for the Benlysta, I am upset but its a double edge sword, seems they only give it if there is organ involvement. Pretty disappointing I thought it was a drug for all stages of Lupus

Bunny,
I wish you'd been able to try the drug. I'm in the same boat. I feel pretty bad but my organs are fine. Like you I thought it would be able to help more than just those with the most severe complications of Lupus. Though I'm glad that they have this to help them.
Maybe in time, more lupus patients will qualify.
How have you been feeling otherwise?

@ tomsmom, I have not been too bad, I am doing water aroebics three to four days a week, I have bad arthur, wish he would leave me alone lol,I get alot of migraines but I live with it, I too am glad that the people with organ involvement at least now have hope, like you I am hoping that this may lead to more research for all of us.
